Former President Donald Trump won the Republican primaries in a landslide. Thus far the only state that Nikki Haley has won is Vermont. According to NPR, Trump won 1249 delegates to Haley’s 94 delegates. Former President Donald Trump won 14 out of the 15 states that held their primaries on Super Tuesday.

If Trump continues to dominate the Republican primaries in March he will likely be the 2024 Republican candidate for the President of the United States. He won the republican primaries in California and Texas, which hold the most electoral votes in the country.  In Texas Trump, won the primary with 77% of the total vote, with Nikki Haley coming in second with only 17% of the total vote in Texas.

According to an NBC News Poll, 70% of GOP voters still stand behind Trump amid the numerous legal issues that emerged in recent years. NBC News took the poll in April 2023 and projected that if the Republican primaries were held, Trump would win in a landslide. A current CBS News Poll found that 69% of Republicans support Donald J. Trump as the Republican presidential nominee and would vote for him in the general election.

Now almost a year later Trump overcoming all odds won 14 out of 15 states in the primaries races. If this trend holds then Former President Donald J. Trump will be the Republican presidential candidate in 2024. Congratulations to Former President Donald Trump on his early victories.
