In the wake of George Floyd’s murder, anarchists have pushed forward the Defund the Police Movement. All across the United States, these anarchists have seized cities as autonomous zones.

According to the Star Tribune stated that over 1,500 buildings have been vandalized, or looted during the rioters in Minneapolis. The Blaze reported that there is at least 55 million dollars worth of property damage in Minneapolis and that number will like rise to over 100 million. Democratic Mayor Frey of Minneapolis admitted to allowing the rioters to rampage through the city. The Daily Caller reported that 15 people died nationwide thus far from the riots including an African American police officer in St. Louis.

According to a CBS report in an interview with Mayor Frey said that there were about 800 police officers from the local 3rd Prencit, 100-200 members from the National Guard, and 84 state patrolmen. He said that his forces were overwhelmed and activity downtown made him divert resources to deal with it. In the end, Frey abandoned the 3rd Prencit during the riots. This Youtube video was taken by Steve Onderick a filmmaker two days after the riots in Minneapolis. You can see the burdened building, graffiti, the property damage.

Now imagine if you took the 1000 brave officers that respond to the riots out and eliminated them. You cannot even fathom the loss of life and property that would have occurred without them. Those 1000 officers are the only thing that stood between Minneapolis and complete anarchy. Police officers and law enforcement put their lives on the line every day, so the American people can live in peace and harmony. They step into the fire and shadow so that the rest of us can live in the light. They deserve our respect, admiration, and support.
