Petition to Recall Gavin Newsom

 In 2020, America faced massive challenges and uncertainty because of Covid-19. All across America schools, businesses and churches shut down and life in America ground to a halt. In May 2020, after the decline of Covid-19 cases, then President Donald Trump encouraged Governors and Mayors to re-open states and cities throughout America. Governor Newsom’s ( D-California) restrictive executive orders caused Californians to suffer unnecessary hardships as the rest of the Nation began to reopen. Through the pandemic businesses, restaurants, schools, parks, and gyms closed down while all the U.S reopened. 

Californians frustrated by the Democrats’ hypocrisy are moving to hold Gavin Newsom accountable for his actions by petitioning to recall him from office. The California Patriot Coalition and Rescue California are funding the recall efforts. They list 5 reasons to recall Governor Newsom: 

1. Failing Schools
2. The homelessness crisis in California
3. Rising Crime Rate 
4. Irresponsible Spending
5. Unaffordable Housing

California leaders including Erin Cruz( R-District 36),  Pastor Rob McCoy of Godspeak Calvary Chapel, Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills, and Pastor John MacArthur of Grace Community Church all support the petition to recall Gavin Newsom. The petition hit 1.9 Million signatures to date. 

Californians are tired of the double standards and hypocrisy exhibited by Democrat leaders in the state. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi who violated shutdown orders in San Francisco by using hair salon services and boasted in an interview about her large and expensive collection of ice cream. Gavin Newsom, allowed his children to continue going to private school while denying California children access to a decent education. Californians continue to suffer under the rule of this tyrant and it is time for a change.
