Revolutionary Communism Party, USA – does that ring a bell? Originally founded in 1975 by Bob Avakin, one would believe that this “party” will be commonly heard of in the media. It is organized as a revolution to overthrow capitalism and replace it with a socialist republic with the final aim of world communism. This “parasitic” organization is making waves at the University of Houston through students posting flyers on its protest being held on November 9, 2019, in Houston, Texas.

Bob Avakian’s belief in the Trump/Pence “fascist regime” must be removed from their positions in the White House by establishing #OUTNOW protests to expose “the role of Christian fascism” and how Christian fundamentalists are the driving force for theoretic fascism. Flyer claims of the current presidential administration “poses a catastrophic danger to humanity and the planet” and listing out the detention centers (not concentration camps), “white supremacy rules, truth and science erased, right to abortion near gone,” etc. In addition, seizing the impeachment crisis will be seen as the people taking on history.

Reaffirming reality in the scope of this rant from Bob Avakin and his followers,

  1. “Concentration camps at the border” is an erroneous statement due to the history of concentration camps being used throughout the Holocaust, where it served a purpose to (1) systematically eliminate targeted groups (i.e. Jews) and (2) “incarcerate people whom Nazi regime perceived to be a security threat”. What is being used at the US and Mexico border are called immigration detention centers where policy is initiated through holding individuals in confinement who are charged with violating immigration laws- not a form of punishment.
  • “Right to abortion near gone” overexaggerates the issue upon pro-life and pro-choice. The decision held within Roe v. Wade (1973) legalizes abortion yet does not confirm as a constitutional right. It merely extends to “right to privacy” being crafted from “penumbras, formed by emanations” from the precedent in Griswold v. Connecticut (1965). Additionally, extending that the right to privacy includes killing a third party, unborn human life and overrode state definitions of human life in the process.
  • “Truth and science erase;” although this statement is not specified, it can be seen as a contradiction due to the fact that science reveals the biological standpoint of differences between the only two genders- male and female. The demand for bathroom bills, medical discrimination protections, proper pronouns, etc., are seen as a way to wipe out what was traditionally built within this nation.
  • “The rule of law and democratic and civil rights stripped away” is illustrated as if this nation is not founded by law thanks to the media. Civilians have seen what this nation is portrayed as- inconsiderate, greed and pride. However, there are individuals who are not born on this soil but ran to this place seeking freedom. Hilario Eli Yanez and Martha Fierro are both prime examples of what defines to be American. Both of their personal stories reveal the struggle of coming to America and use their platforms to inform others the reason what America’s foundation is rooted for either as a DACA recipient or part of Reagan Amnesty.

These nationwide protests can continue demanding Trump and Pence to be uprooted from their positions, but the people voted for these two individuals with reason. Therefore, they are here to stay and every rant that follows reveals Avakin’s followers contain a veil over their eyes on history being made.
