RNHA Florida Endorses Anne Marie Gennusa for Public Defender on the 7th Circuit

St. Johns, Florida- The Republican National Hispanic Assembly is proud to endorse Anne Marie Gennusa for Public Defender on the 7th Circuit Court. Anna Marie Gennusa is a local attorney and business owner with a proven track record in criminal defense. Gennusa relocated with her family to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida in 1999. She began her legal career as a criminal defense attorney in Bronx County, NY in 1994. She was admitted to Florida bar in 1999 and New York bar in 1995. During her 25 years legal career she has served as a public defender, criminal defense attorney assistant state attorney, and private practitioner. She began her career in law working to represent those accused of crimes who could not afford legal representation.

She has successfully run her law firm since 1999 and managed employees in the day to day operations of the business. Gennusa received the Martindale Hubble rated AV-Preeminent, which is the highest possible rating for an attorney to attain. Only 10% of all attorneys in the United States hold this distinction. Anne Marie Gennusa worked on the 2003 campaign for James S. Purdy the current Public Defender who will be retiring in 2020. Gennusa’s diversified background gives her a well rounded and balanced perspective of the challenges in running a business and providing effective representation.

Anne Marie Gennusa graduate from Gennusa received her Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law in 1994 and Dual Master Certificates from Villanova University in Government Contracting (2012) and Human Resource Management (2013). She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal studies, with a minor in Psychology in 1990. She is one of the few people who has been certified to operate pet-assisted therapy and has successfully implemented a pet-assisted therapy program for a multi-special needs population. The Republican National Hispanic Assembly is honored to stand by Anne Marie Gennusa in her election bid for Flordia’s 7th Circuit Public Defender.
