Elements of the radical LGBT movement are actively attacking Christians for exercising their religious beliefs throughout the United States of America. We all remember the Christian Bakers who were viciously attacked by the LGBTQ movement. In 2014 and 2015, the LGBT community began a legal battle by suing Christians who refuse to bake wedding cakes for homosexual couples. The monetary burden from this attack forced the Bakers out of business. The Obama administration Christians’s businesses found themselves in legal battles across the nation for expressing their religious beliefs. American citizens came from all over to support the Bakers and now the courts have overturned the ruling on some of these cases.

In the past decade, Christians have endured the most persecution around the world. According to Christian Post, It is estimated that 215 million believers face violence and hatred for their faith. The article states that they expect Christian persecution to increase this year. Around the world, Christians are facing a modern-day Jihad. Many Christians who live in foreign countries do not recognize their citizens’ inalienable rights and are targeting Christianity. In Canada, Christians are facing the same issues as we are in America. A Christian group in Canada was attacked for simply sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

One group, Touch of Christ Ministries was attacked in Canada for simply sharing the gospel and trying to communicate the message that everyone needs salvation and God in their life. Pastor David Lynn was arrested at the request of some LGBTQ members. These members were caught on camera assaulting and harassing the Christian group members from Torch of Christ Ministries. Several LGBTQ individuals created a mob against the Christian citizens cursing at them, and detaining them for at least an hour on one side of the street. The Canadian officers told Pastor Lynn that he was disturbing the peace speaking words on a microphone in the city. Lynn complied with the request of the officers he decided he would not use the microphone to preach. They continued harassing him, the LGBTQ members cheered when officers forced the Christians off the street. However, officers did not reprimand any members of the LGBTQ movement who were causing a disturbance. The video below shows the entire situation and the bias of Canadian officers against Christians. The LGBTQ claim territory in part of the city, and they have tried to ban Christians from that part of the city.

The LGBTQ movement claims to push for equality and inclusion, but at the same time, does not show that tolerance to others. As the LGBTQ movement continues to spread across the world Christians are being forced to conform to non-Christian behaviors or face persecution. The purpose of the Law and the Constitution in America and Canada is to protect the unalienable rights of their citizens in order to maintain a civil society. When the law is used as a weapon for a partisan agenda the rights of citizens are affected and the law itself becomes a tool of oppression against the people. Christians believe in and respect the law of the land and the law of God. Discrimination of Christians is unlawful and unethical. Patriots should become more educated on the law in order to defend their cause and political position. To start they can seek information on their rights and turn to Conservative organizations like the A.C.L.J (the American Center for Law and Justice.)for further resources to assist them.
