The Republican National Hispanic Assembly endorses Yvette Herrell for the U.S House of Representatives in New Mexico’s District 2. Herrell is an extremely talented New Mexican who, since her time in Congress, has been a member of the Committee on Natural Resources and the Committee on Oversight and Reform. Herrell also serves on the National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands Subcommittee and is the Vice Ranking Member of the Energy and Minerals Development Subcommittee.

On Oversight Herrell serves both on the Environment and Government Operations Subcommittee. She is also a member of the Conservative House Freedom Caucus and the Republican Study Committee. Herrell spent her congressional career fighting for the Right to Life, the Second Amendment, and Energy Independence. Herrell takes all of the above approaches to her energy policy and is active in protecting oil and gas jobs in New Mexico from the Biden Administration. In February 2021, Herrell introduced the Protecting New Mexico’s Jobs and Public Education System Act. The legislation would exempt oil and gas development on federal lands in the State of New Mexico from President Joe Biden’s moratorium.

In addition to her impressive political career, she has owned and operated several small businesses. Herrell fights for small business owners and regularly combats government overreach. Yvette Herrell is a talented leader and a strong conservative in the House of Representatives. The RNHA is asking that you join us in voting for Yvette Herrell for Congress in New Mexico’s District 2. She is the right person for the Job. She will fight for you.
